Doc Nº 0001Who we are
Overprint is a creative agency. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or work with us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to the site, the brief form, the newsletter and our email correspondence.
What we collect
- Details you give us in the brief form or by email: your name, email address, company, the service you are asking about, a budget range and your message.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and the date you subscribed.
- Technical data collected by the website: pages visited, referring page, browser type, screen size and an approximate location derived from your IP address. The site does not use advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your brief and prepare a proposal.
- To run a project once you become a client: contracts, invoices, files and project communication.
- To send the newsletter you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the site is used and keep it working, using aggregate statistics.
Legal basis
We process your data because you asked us to (a brief, a newsletter), because it is needed to run a contract with you, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the site and the studio. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who sees it
Your data stays inside the studio. We use a small number of services to run the business: website hosting and analytics, email, a form service, invoicing and file storage. Each processes data on our behalf under a contract and does not use it for its own purposes. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Brief and email enquiries are kept for two years after our last contact. Client project records are kept for six years for tax and contract reasons. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Website statistics are aggregated and hold no personal record after ninety days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to the email address in the footer and we will answer within thirty days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
The site sets only the cookies it needs to work and to count visits anonymously. No cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced to newsletter subscribers.
